i have front and rear strut bars and was looking for a rear lower tie bar but who makes them and how much. Also, if anyone has one on can u tell a difference?

I have one. Not really worth it IMHO. I also have a completely upgraded suspension.

If you do not have the RRE front lower tie, that is a worthy upgrade. If you your car is lowered more than 1.5 inches, you might have problems hitting things with it if you are not careful.

Ive got a pilot sports Rear lower bar.....It helps get rid of the rattle from the hatch but thats about it... I paid like 50 bux for it.

pardon my ignorance on this stuff, but are sway bars and tie bars the same thing??? I dunno my bars. All I know is strut bars and roll bars. And nudie bars. lol. Tie bars and sway bars are the same thing tho right? keep the car from rolling to the side in cornering.

when he said lower tie bar, that usually means the rear strut bar which will be located under the car, connecting a suspension pickup point for each rear wheel. The point of a lower strut tower bar (lower tie bar) is to stiffen the chassis. Honestly, all it does is shut the rattle up for the hatch area. A sway bar is related to suspension movement. What it does is connects each suspension together during compression and rebound. When you take a turn and the weight transfers to one side, that side's suspension compresses while the opposites side uncompresses. The causes the car to "lean". A sway bar forces the inside wheels springs/shocks to compress which makes the turn flatter...Hope this helps.

I have the rear lower tie bar and I think t's sorta just for asthetics..you can see the shiney bar looking at the car. What does the RRE lower front tie bar do? understeer? oversteer? THanks

tie bars and sway bars are different

Well on a near stock suspension it does help with the rear end sway. Mostly noticable on tighter cornering and high cross winds sway. The affect seemes to diminish with upgrade sway bars My thinking more to tighten the chassis the better.
