Cody and Jen put those on their Talon, by far they are some of the best looking wheels I have ever seen. Do it, buy them... before I keel you!!

DUDE!! Those ARE the ones!! I would buy them but I have promised a lot of people I wouldn't spend anymore money on my car for a while. I'm graduating in May and I need to have a safety net to graduate with. I already have about $2G saved up and I want to have $4G. If I can save up that much, I'll take whatever I save over that and buy those...dammit!!!! I want them now though!!!!

Are those the silver ones or the chromes???

To be honest... I've had the rims for about 4 months or so and they already look really yucky. The clear coat is peeling really bad on 3 of the 4 wheels already. Looks like crap. I'm gonna have to get all of them repainted and refinished before they get any worse. I was very happy with them at first, but man... they're not worth the money. :(

PS: They're the silver ones.

Yeah, I should have some. I'll try to find them and post them. I just moved and haven't been online much at all, so it may take a while :)

Also, I didn't mean to rag on the wheels THAT bad. It's just that I felt about them the same way you do now when I first got them. Now they're just totally pissing me off. $1,100 is a lot of money spent and it's a little upsetting when it turns out like that. But in the end, you get what you pay for. And what I paid for a wheel and tire set of 18s is not bad :)

oh yeah, how much did it cost to lose the 'fins' on the doors and get them filled and repainted...that looks awesome!!!...okay...just full of questions...did you have to do anything else to fit those 18's underneither there, did you roll the fenders? or do they just fit?? What size are the tires?

My bf has been driving the car lately (I'm pregnant and the ride is a little stiff for me :) ) I can see if he can take another car tomorrow so I can take some new pics of it.

Nothing. The car never had any 'fins' and I'm not quite sure what you're talking about :) The molding that runs across the length of the car?

No, they won't just fit. I guess the secret is in picking the right tire size. I went with a narrow tire instead of a wider tire. I have a set of 18s on my Spyder with 225 tires and they rubbed on the Talon so I chose a set of 215 wide tires and they fit just fine. (I think they're 215/40/18. They might even be 205. I can check for sure tomorrow when the car is here.) But I didn't roll the fenders or anything, which I didn't want to do and I don't have any rubbing problems.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I can also post some pics of the clear coat peeling so you can see what 'might' happen. I have no idea if it affects all of those wheels or just mine...

Both are the silver ones. The lip is polished and it looks like chrome, but the spokes are silver.

I did live in Colorado, but now I'm in Missouri. Like I said, I've only had them for about 5 months or so and it hasn't snowed yet :) Plus I have a separate set of wheels that I use in the winter or the track. They don't see much rain either since the car is mostly garaged. My bf used to work as a professional car detailer, so the wheels are taken care of very well. I don't understand why they're chipping like that either. But if you think about it, for about $120 a wheel you can't expect what you would expect from a wheel that's $200. I'm sure they're that cheap for a reason. Maybe the poor quality is it. :)

I got mine from Discount Tire. They gave me a great deal, plus they mounted and balanced the tires for free. There was a Discount Tire store just down the road from where I used to live so I didn't even have to pay shipping. :)

i have emailed him before about his rims. he says he is a rep from paradyme and yes the ones he has on his car are silver. he said he could hook me up with a deal on tires too. $750 shipped is a really good deal, but i dont know now that Jen says they peel. i myself am seriously considering those or the f225's in the spring.

Niche makes some similar to those. You may want to check. They aren't exact, but my friend had them on his spyder.

If you look close enough you can see the clear coat peeling


Again, you have to look very close. You can tell where it's peeled and looking dull.


Here's a picture of defect in teh paint on the spoke. Seems like dirt or something got on it when it was painted. Looks somewhat like orange peel in body paint and the surface is very rough.

Jen that looks really tight. I see the defects. But eventually all wheels get some sort of problem. Happend to my set of Konig's and they cost $1600. :rolleyes
