12867, hit curb wheels were straight before impact Posted by Ceres, Oct-21-02 07:34 AM
i was going around this circle and hit a curb. My speed was 25-30mph, my wheels were straight and the car ended up completely on the grass/sidewalk. The only noticable cosmetic damage was a 4 inch wide completly white part of the front bumper where paint had chipped off from the initial impact. However it appeared to me that the whole incident which was 3 seconds at best could be compared to a really bad speed bumb since i went over the curb onto the sidewalk instead of steering away so i drove over the curb onto the sidewalk at around 25mph would advice would anyone give to check for problems that may be unseen by the naked eye?

take the wheel off and check to see if anything is bent. Most likely it is. If your lucky all you may need an alignment if you didn't hit it so hard you may be able to get away with that. But if you really tweaked it you'll have to replace whatever is bent. Good Luck, haha many drifting accidents have made me good at suspension stuff :P
