12855, 2 or 4 SS Brake Lines Posted by Semperboost, Oct-21-02 12:36 AM
Is there any place that sells just the front SS brake lines for the GSX? I have drums in the back and I don't think they really need SS brake lines, rite? Is it hard to change em out in the back? THanks yall

The main reason for going with SS brake lines is because it improves response and pedal pressure. A quote from RRE's website....."braided lines provide a firmer pedal for more positive control under extreme conditions."
So even though you haven't upgraded your rear brakes yet, you still need the SS lines front AND back to get that stiffer pedal pressure. I think that's why they are only sold in the set of 4.
