Me and Fast420A just exchanged his suspension setup for my stockers, anyway I got some few concerns.

1. NOISES NOISES NOISES..................

2. There's a small thumping sound in the back when the car is in motion

3. Squeeling sound that goes and an off sometimes, can't isolate where it's coming from

4. The first time I road test it, I was backing from a driveway and for a moment, it seemed that my steering input just freezed. Like I was turning the wheel all the way to the left, then when it was time for me to straighten out, the wheel just wouldn't budge for a sec and finally did.

5. Lotsa lotsa lotsa VIBES, I can put an unmixed Koolade, put it in the dash, travel about 40 mph, then instant mix

6. There are more noises that I couldn't identify yet

Well, I'm hopefully gonna get an alignment the next day, IF my friend's machine can read it...............either way, I hope that just an alignment will cure most of this, if not all. Thanks!!!!

Oh yeah, when we did the swap, his WHOLE suspension setup (springs and shocks) where still in one body, we just took that body and put it onto mine. Not sure if this helps though.

I've found out what was the thumping, my dumbass self just happened to only hand tighten the lugs on my back driver side wheel, DUHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Thank God, it could've had disastrous results when I wsa driving back home. Well today, I took her for an alignment and the car rides better now. I still get little vibes, not like before, around 60. Oh well......

well I know that when I first lowered my car I was getting clunks left and right. All of it stopped a couple of weeks afterward after I gave up trying to find a problem and fix it.

When I had help lowering the car on sportlines, the dumbass left a strut bolt out on the rear. I was driving and my rear driver side suspension fucking collapsed. Right b4 a curve. If I had been in that curve, I woulda lost it. I shoulda beat the fuck out of him. I hit a bump, and BOOM. The car slammed down. Thank God I was only going 50, and on a straight away, and didn't have any expensive sideskirts and shit on.

Robotech- thats sounds like alot of noise imo...This is my second lowered car and I never had the noises you guys are talking about (...'cept the scraping sound of the front bumper and driveway...) :P

How old/many miles on the set up? I would just double check that all the bolts are torqued to specs.

Since the suspension is stiffer, rattling would be normal if its just the cheepo interior plastic that comes with our 2Gs

aem cai, gst muffler, 17 konig villains, magnecores, ard 57mm tb, eibach sportlines, tokico blues, ingalls cambers, tsi side skirts, Century-Graco "sports edition" baby seat ( minus 10 horses )

Yea, all bolts were torqued down. The suspemsion setup is in my sig. and it's about a year old. I got the AGX on the stiffest setting (8) in the rear and the second to the stiffest setting in the front (3 of 4). The car doesn't make that much noises now, though it still makes some but it's expected to be in a lowered car. I also get a little vibes after the alignment aroud 60.

I 've heard something about the AGX's being shit for our cars when lowered. Something about the rod being an inch too long or short. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned that....

I just put some H&R's on mine with GR-2's and I have a shitload of bumping noises back there. I also get vibes around 20mph and then again at 80mph. None of this shit happened when I had my shitty coilovers on. I love the way it rides but I just can't figure this one out.
