12589, GSX calipers question.

Does it matter if they came off a car that had ABS?

I am looking for brackets as well right? Anything else I should keep my eyes out for or are those two things all I need off the car.

Doesn't matter if it has ABS or not... they are all the same. If you find a 2 piston caliper equipped car in a junkyard, just take the caliper right off of the hub, and that will include the bracket. Also take the lines. They are slightly different between us and them.

My lines were the same. It just depends on whether they're the screw-in type or the banjo type.

If they're the banjo variety, they should be the same.

i believe it depends on the type of car you get it from.. if its from a gsx/tsi-awd then the fittings should be the same, but if from like a stealth/3000gt then i think their line fittings are different.

Lines don't really matter though if you're just going to slap on some SS anyway right? :)

Well, my stuff was off of a 1G AWD, I don't know if that matters. The fitting on the end of the stock 2GNT line bottomed out in the caliper and was nowhere near sealed. A couple of washers did the trick. ;)
