Okay, I want to build the bejesus out of my suspension but at a reasonable price. I'm thinking of going with Illuminas, Eibach Pro Kits, and Energy Suspension bushings (if I can find them), Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts, and I have Hurricane_GS front and rear lower bars coming in.

My questions are:

What's the best camber kit? I was thinking of Ingalls.
Who makes the best front and rear sway bars?
Who makes the best upper strut braces (I know a lot of guys have the cheap eBay ones, are there any GREAT ones)?
And am I missing anything?

with the Illumina/prokit set up you most likly won't need a camber kit. i'm on illuminas & prokits, its off -1 degree off factory spec front & behind.

u could do the $15 rear camber mod + Ingalls for the front. personally though -1 ain't worth spending 100+ bucks to correct it.

I love my neuspeed one but now there is a new company called d3designs or something that has a full suspension kit for the avenger that I bet would work just fine for you too http://www.dthreedesigns.com/

Those suspension bushings are a pain to install, takes a nice arbor press and like 2 days to complete

If I wanted I sweet suspension setup I would spend the grand for the true coilover setup, the spring kits or coilovers are not the best by far, but the true setups are really nice.

upper strut tower braces aren't going to help much. a better mod for that area would be sway bars. a couple companies make rears and glen on the board makes fronts for a decent price. plus he's a board member so it's good to keep it in the family

yeah im going to have to add on to this...

the bushings are a great upgrade, but are a pita to install and usually result in an occasional squeaky suspension.. reason i know.. i have them on my car.. :-) got lucky on the install with a good friend who had the patience and press to get it done.. if you would have someone do this you would have downtime and possibly have to payout around 400-600 plus the bushings themselves.

sway bars are supposed to be great to upgrade.. if you have a RS you will need to change out your rear lower control arms for the gs/t/x ones that have the sway bar linkages, so you can install the rear bar. lower tie bars should help some combined with the upper ones.. since i dont have the lower ones yet i cant give a good estimate on how much they help and such.

prokit springs imo are the best for a good daily driven suspension setup.. but true coilover kits are the best for a total suspension setup, but are a bit pricey, but are well worth it if you have the money to spend on that.

if you get prokits or soemthing similar just do the rear washer($15) camber kit deal and it should be fine. the front will not be that bad for that drop. oh and remember its the insides of the tires thaty ou need to pay attention to when concerned with camber.

oh and get some nice 17x7 type rims with 215/45 tires.. as those imo are the best for a decent well rounded suspension setup that is not over powering or over done.

our stock suspension setup is very well done and i have been able to impress a few people includeing myself on the agility and control our cars have.

Don't get expensive ones, it doesn't make that big of a difference(other then your oil cap being covered up). I have OBX.

Uh, yes you are. You can put a total of 5 bars(find as many as you can). Also get decent wheels like the above post said....however for now, check your tire PSI(you want your fronts w/ ~3-4 more psi)....but instead of 215's...I'd put 225's...The Kumho Supra's are one of the best tires for the price right now...try www.whalentire.com.

Another suggestion would be to RESEARCH. Go to auto x'ing sites, they have tons of info in regard to suspension set-up. Go to google and type in SCCA or SOLO II or TLAC. They all should point you in the right direction.

Yeah, but there are a lot of people who REALLY KNOW their stuff and that's who I wanted to hear from.

I know about the 5 bar setup. I can't find that 5th one that used to be produced by Neuspeed. Glenn first introduced me to it.

17's or 18's? I'm thinking 17's...not too radical, but a huge change over my factory 14's.

And I know that the best way to go is with the integrated coil over full suspension set-ups....but like I said, I want a good set-up for a reasonable price, and that meant getting everything for less than or as close to a grand as I can get....not spending a grand on just one part :thumbsup.
