What are the best struts for our cars with about a 3" - 3.5" drop? I read on the forum a while ago if I remember correctly, someone said the KYB AGX's were longer than the factory struts? I need something soon, cuz I don't like bouncing down the street!

3"-3.5" drop?!?!?! Don't you get high-centered on just about anything in the road! I have a 2" drop and I have to drive sideways over every speed bump and dip and sometimes I still scrape. There are some places in town that I can't even go because my car is too low to get into the parking lot.

no strut can take that for long, most are okay for up to a 2" drop anything over that and you will destroy the strut rather quickly, plus you will destroy the front end with that drop, if not constantly scraping it everywhere you go.

Well you COULD drop that far, but the only way to really do it would be to get a true coilover system, not those BS onese that just go over a regular shock......You would need a real coilover system that has shortened shock bodies to get the travel back....My friend used to have a B&G kit that was like 1300 bucks, it didnt bounce but rode stiff as hell... IMO, I agree with the other guys, you wont be driving very far with a drop like that without ripping your bumper or exhaust right off the car.

Not that many people in this forum can really tell which one's are the best strut you can buy just because usually most people only change their struts not more then once in their car's lifetime. And i don't think that you should get professional coilover systems either just because it has to many part and that means to many things could go wrong and this can be a real pain if you're just a daily driver. If you're buying struts, the only real thing i can tell you is don't buy any cheap shit, get the real struts. Just remember, you get what you're paid for.
