i put these on my car a month ago, i have yet to test them out tho can sumone tell me if there good on a droped car i have a 2in drop with new strut mounts and urethane bushings, is this gonna ride good or not, also is there a way to tighten them, i like really tight suspension and i think i read sumwhere that just turning the rod will loosen and tighten it ...is this tru, tia

Well I don't know if u have the answer to ur ? by now but my springs have settled hopefully as low as theyre going to go and I can barely get a finger in anywhere on it now, the sportlines have my car slammed-as for the gr2's I been riding almost 2 weeks now, before that I used them with coilovers, recently I took my car on some of the worst roads anybody could find in these parts, old back highways, I was able to drive 65 without blowing them and they didn't bottom out, and yes I hit some hella bad potholes, I still have to do the camber mod and get an alignment still so I put it to the test. it was just to see if the suspension could handle it because I never know what the roads are going to be like when I drive far from home so I wanted the worst case scenario tested out. I would say go for it, they should hold u for a while, but the only thing u have to worry about other than the struts is getting some good coilvers or springs (please dont go cheap on that)and remember to check the spring rates especially if u r going the coilover route

i ran gr2's for over a year, and as far as factory replacements go- they're good shocks, and they're at a decent price
i found that they were too soft for my taste so i swapped out for agx adjustables, and so far, i'm pretty happy
i ran my eibach sportlines on both sets, and my conclusion is- sportlines suck
i've also had the springs for a little while, so naturally they've sagged...they're just too soft and floaty...my car is just too damned low...am thinking of switching to pro kits- have heard nothing but good things about them

for daily driving- the gr2's will work, but if you want tight handling, responsiveness, and a car that will drive you mad and give you lower back pain when driven on normal roads- only to make you grin and drool- in the case when you come across a seductive windy road, go with a performance shock
