im needing brakes and i would like to get some that are a little better than the ones that the local auto parts store sales

I've never heard of any complaints about aftermarket pads, b/c they seem to be head & shoulders above OEMs regardless of the make. Peeps I know seems to really like either axxis metal masters or ebc greens. There is some selling point to greens being cleaner than OEMs, but some say they actually make more dust. That might be in part due to many people switching to slotted rotors the same time they upgrade pads, though.

I had the EBC Greens with stock rotors and had hella dust from the things, I have some generic Autozone special for the time being and they don;t give off hardly any dust anymore. With the EBC I would wash my car and within 40 miles my rims would be black as hell already....:(

I bought the Metal Lux semi metallic brake pads from Nopi... They work as well as most of the other pads I have tried...and they are only $35 shipped. No matter what you get, it will be better then OEM.
