This is basically just an FYI for anyone that's interested in upgrading. The front sway bar off a turbo all wheel drive is an exact duplicate of ours except it's a little thicker. The rear sway bar is MUCH thicker than the stock one on my GS! It has a few extra bends because it has to go around their driveshaft, but it still fits on our cars perfectly.

The result.....much stiffer feel all around and I have hardly any body roll. It's a great mod if you can get your hands on them. I got lucky because my friend upgraded to the RM sway bars and I got the old ones for free. :)

Anything suspension related is a PITA. I looked at my sway bars when I was taking my springs off and it didn't look too hard to get them out. Just like anything else, you need the right tools and a little bit of patience.

Getting my sway bars off wasn't that difficult. The nuts on the end link are on there pretty good, but if you spray them with WD-40 or Liquid Wrench first it makes it easier.

Taking the end links off the TSi AWD sway bars was MUCH more difficult. The car came from sea level so the bolts were rusted on pretty good. They stripped out so we cut them off with a sawzall.
