10989, those with Koni yellows: have you used the adjustable spring perch?

I just hope this is not another one of those questions where nobody answers b/c noone knows what I'm talking about.

For those of you who don't know, the Koni yellows that come with an "adjustable spring perch" can lower your car an inch. I contacted Koni and it seems not all yellows come with this option.

I've been looking into this as the best way to lower your car with your stock springs, ending up with an extremely comfortable ride. You can also couple the struts 1" drop with a spring (like OBX I believe which only have an 1" drop) that lowers an inch itself, that has a very low spring rate. You would then have a 1" drop and a very smooth ride. If you need to stiffen your suspension then no prob - the koni's have adjustable dampners.

Has anybody used that adjustable spring perch for a 1" drop? I'm just asking b/c these struts are friggin $$$ so I wanna know what the word is on them b4 I buy.

I didnt use it, but yes this is what that shock is designed for, it DOES have another groove that you slide the perch onto to drop the car 1", it will work just fine, I just posted about that in another forum as the best way to lower your can and retain the stock ride quality, which is very nice. The koni yellows are awesome, the adj. damper will help to get the ride even better than stock.
