I wouldn't recommend it, and some others wouldn't either. But it's your car so do it if you really want. Just don't expect a good ride quality, and many tend to leak after a while.

Use that money to buy some coilovers and put the rest into your engine. You'll thank me later.

i have air and haven't had any problems. except there struts leak down after a while driving. i would go with coils. i can change from air struts to my coils in 2 hours without a lift. how far do you drive? i drive 45 miles one way to work. that should make up your mind also.

buy a good set and you dont have to worry, dont forget people that trucks/busses etc. have been using this technology for a long time, you can adjust the spring rate to what ever is comfortable to you, the ride can be much better than coilovers if you set it up right and get a quality kit.

most air kits give a very nice ride. after all this is what's used on high end luxury vehicles like most lincolns some caddies and the navigator. but i would have to agree with getting springs or coils and putting the rest in the motor or body depending on what your goal is.
