10582, Help! Lowering with H&R springs. Posted by EclipseRyder333, Jul-07-02 08:53 PM
Just bought some H&R sport springs which drop 1.7" front 1.4" rear. Only one problem, is it too low?????? I am running on stock rims, 14"??? A.im worried that it will sit too low because I'm on stock rims and I dont really want to spend the cash right now for some 17"ers although I have coil overs in now which I swear slammed it like 3" B.Will the dealer be able to align it C. How bad will the camber be and will I need to correct?? Should I sell those mothers on ebay and pick up a prokit? Worth it for the extra cash? Thanks for the help.

The sport springs won't be too low. I have the race springs which drop another .5" or so. You should be able to do the 15$ rear camber mod, the front should be OK. I am not sure about the alignment, it depends on what kind of lift they use. They CAN do it, its just a matter if they WILL do it. Some places see a lowered car and freak. I would personally put the springs on and sell the coilovers, but that is just my opinion.
