I think they're great Did wonders for stock suspension. I noticed flatter cornering. Higher Cornering Speeds. More Neutral feeling(Steering) Reduced understeer. Very easy to loosen the rear end IF you wanted to :>. If your autocrossing, just like cruise the area with a alot of Currves. Then get it Other wise its not an effective upgrade if your area has alot of straights, or slowly cruise around town. If won't help you if your draging. hope this helps.

...I have them, and they do everything just said^^^
There is only one risk I could think of. It becomes a little easier to lose the rear *IF* you haven't relearned how to drive your car with its new abilities.

i havent really ever looked really hard to find them, but from what i understand there are only a few places to get them, and i guess to get them cheaper you could try some sort of group buy or get them used from someone

10426, 4g63 sways an upgrade?? Posted by BoostedGS, Jul-01-02 07:54 AM
Are the sway bars off a GSX or TSi AWD an upgrade for our cars?? I know the front sway fits, but what about the rear? I know it's shaped differently because of the center diff. And our gas tanks are shaped differently too, so I'm not sure if it fits. Has anyone tried this??

10427, I got mine used... Posted by Skrilla, Jul-01-02 04:00 PM
...from www.thepartstrader.com for 225. Even my galant Ground Controls were 225 from there. My panasonic head unit was 180 and was used for 2 months. Brand new it was like $400.

I don't think the AWD sway bars will fit. I do know that the GST sway bars do fit, and they are thicker than the ones on a GS.

10429, I have GSX bars... Posted by Skrilla, Jul-01-02 08:43 PM
...they fit, and I've had them for 3 years. Depending on the muffler you have will ultimately determine how easy it is to install them though

Well, I already have the front sway bar from a 95 TSi AWD on my car. Since my car is down for a rebuild right now, I'll see if the rear one fits soon and post to let you know.

Hey Jason.
Turning up the boost is the reason WHY I am doing a rebuild right now. I posted more info on that in the Turbo forum under the "How to get rid of spark knock" thread. It should be a pretty fun car when I get it back up and running though.
Will you be at the Import Challenge at Bandimere on Sunday?
