Wondering if anyone's got any side shots with the h&r sport springs? How do you like the ride quality of them? I have maxspeed coilovers, but never need to adjust them so it's kinda a waste....lemme know what u think? Also how much do the sport springs lower?

They ride great. I'm still on stock struts too. The rear will sit slightly higher than the front too, which is good for weight transfer if you plan on racing. Very pleased with these springs..Lowerd me about 2" in the front, and about 1.75" in the rear. You will need front and rear camber kits to get you stock camber alignment back into spec.

Are you sure you have the H&R Sport Springs? I have the H&R Race springs and they lower the car about 2". I heard the Sport springs are more of a 1" - 1.5" drop. I may be wrong... but as far as I know the Race springs are a bit stiffer with a bigger drop then their Sport springs.

Yep thier measurements are about right on when right after the install. AFTER spring settle is where i got my measurements..I measured before the install from the lip of the fender to the top of the tire tread. I then measured after the install, then again after spring settle. Thats what i got anyway..You will get about the same drop with the race springs, just slightly lower, but much stiffer.

Its hard to tell by looking the wheel gap... I mean the different between the two is what, .3 of an inch? I didnt do before/after measurements but I would swear that my car dropped more than the two inches that the springs were suppose to. Look at the front of your car Jen, its even lower than mine. The differences in appearance is subtle, its in the handling that the major difference is....

We did this comparison about 4 times, remember? :P

I wasn't looking at XtremeRS's wheelgap. He just said that his Sport springs lowered him about 2" and since those springs are supposed to be not as low as 2" I was just thinking that he may have the Race springs. :)

Go back to bed!
