got my car lowered (eclipse gs 1998) on may 15 and i noticed that the height were uneven and i though fine, it probably needs to settle. now it is june 16 and its still uneven. both front tires are higher than the back. the back right tires are really low (1.5 finger gap), the front right have 2.5 finger gap. as far as the left side goes, it is a lot better than the right. i think that the left rear tires have a 2 finger gap while the front left are about the same but slightly higher. my springs are eibach prokit. it is suppose to be 1.3 inch gap and anyone who could suggest tips would really be appreciated.

Are you absolutely sure you put the correct springs on the correct shock? (that came to me right away)

Did you cut the front bumpstops?

Otherwise, you don't have any large stereo equipment in the back seats, do you?

What kind of struts do you have? How the springs are sitting on the perches may also be of some concern. Otherwise, you might want to call Eibach and have them see a picture of the install. Don't proffer to customer service that you installed the springs yourself though. That might invalidate your warranty.

yup yup. also you may wanna use a more accurate standard for measuring like a tape measure from teh ground to the top of your wheel well

damn, i feel like i'm gettin screwed. anyway, i don't have any large equipment in the back. i threw away the box already and don't have the number for eibach anymore-F***! i spent 300 total-and i'm a poor college student here.

oh yeah, i got them installed by my dads friend who owns an import car shop for a $100. every thing in my car is stock except for my intake and springs.

damn, i keep forgetting but could being on a slight incline do this. the incline is only 15 degrees though... it seems to be better when i am on even ground.

grrrrrrrrrrrr....i hate saying this. the fenders are different heights on cars. the front one is higher than the rear because the front wheels turn. this is why they APPEAR to be different height. look closely, the fenders are different. this is why i chose coilovers becuae i didn't like the different gaps. and some springs have progressive stance which means the front sits lower.

exactly, the rest of you lowered guys should have known this too, the fenders are higher in front. the car is the same height off the ground on both ends but it doesnt look that way. i lowered my front 5" and my rear 3" to get it even

damn, i should have gotten coil-overs. oh well, thanks everyone, at least i don't have to spend more money already for the stupid springs (400 total).!

Could have installed them yourself and not spent the extra $100. And why did you spend $300 for springs, coximport.com has them for $215 with free shipping. We did them ourselves without a spring compressor in about 5 hours for both front and back, shocks/struts and springs.

I love my prokit..I have a fairly even drop all the way around.

i wish i could install it but i'm new to this car mod thing. add the fact that i'm a poor college kid and have my one and only car, i can't risk messing up my ride.
