You have all heard this question asked about a billion times I bet. I did a search on it and found everything but what i needed to know.

Im asking this question because the guy at a local shop said I didn't need front or rear cambers when I was buying my eibach prokit. I was under the impression that no matter what you use you need cambers to keep it in spec. I don't have the extra money to go through tires really fast. So if someone can help me that would be great. And if I don't need cambers great... if I do lemme know where I can get a good deal on the front/rear camber. Ill probably end up doing the $15 rear camber mod if I need cambers. And how much does it help or if at all to get front/rear lower sways? ok im done lemme know. tia

i'm not sure how much of a drop the prokits are but a general rule is if your gonna do more than the mild less than 1 inch drop you'll need front and back if you go mild i would still recomend the $15 rear camber mod

I would buy them. It a lot cheap they buying some more tires in the future. :)

I believe the prokit gives you about a 1.5" drop after the springs settle. This is what ive heard I don't know yet. I need to know what all i'll need to do this right.

get the $15 rear now, you can drive on the fronts with a 1.5" drop for a looong time. i drove 2 years on good tires with a 2" front drop and when i took them off the insides were bald but no wire showing. dont sweat the front yet, wear the tires out first...it will handle damn good at -2 degrees in teh front anyway

Im dropped around 1.7-1.8" w/ no camber kit. I have been riding around on my GSX rims and tires for about 5 months now and have not noticed any unusual wear on them.

I agree. just buy them, and they will cost alot cheaper later on when you buy the tires.

yeah, i got my eibach prokit in may 15 and yeah, even though they said it is going to be a 1.3 in drop it was a lot more but who cares i luv it. yeah, get the camber, the tires definitely slant. they're not noticeable but it bothers the hell out of me so i want them gone.

Ok I just got my prokit I am going to do the $15 mod on the rear and I am goint to get a camber kit for the front but should I install them both at the same ( camber kit $15 and springs???)or should I wait until the springs settle???

I just installed both rear and front springs with my dad over the weekend. After doing the rear, we immediately put the $15 camber mod to use, but that was dumb. Wait about a week until your springs settle to do the back, I'm already up to 6 washers on the rear camber mod and it still has a slight slant. Do the front camber immediately, your going to have the front hub all taken apart so you might as well modify the A-arm while your at it. I'm using the Eibach alignment kit for the front, it's a cam that's adjustable instead of a solid bushing. Your going to need a ball joint press to get the stock bushings out and probably need to chip them out with a pick, hammer, and vice, then sand down the inside of the joint so the alignment kit will go in.
