10065, What wheel off-set can I use Posted by BlitZEclipse, Jun-10-02 03:09 PM
I am going to purchase 17x7 rims and need to know what off-set i can run, I will have 215/45/17 tires and dont want my wheels sticking out of my fender wells. I guess more specifically can i use a 40mm off-set.
Sorry for the long post. TIA
p.s. IS our bolt pattern 5x4.5 and or 5x114.3

Actually our bolt pattern is 5x4.5 standard or 5x114.3 metric. Either one will work. And if you use a P215/45r17 tire it mat cause problems with your ride's computer and abs sensor. The tire has to be within 3% of the original overal diameter. P225/45r17, P235/40R17 would both be better sizes and you won't need to do any other mods. Remember, just because someone can phsically do something doesn't mean it's right.

215 45 17 is fine. if you wanted to save more cash you could go down to 205 40 17's. your fine. 225 45 would be optimal though
