They only problem I noticed with strut bars, both cheap and name brand, they use shitty chrome allen head bolts and nuts. I have had the bolts sieze and then snap when I use the breaker bar. The first thing I did when I got a STB after that happened was go to home depot and get 2 good bolts and nuts. They don't look as nice but are a HELL of a lot easier to take on and off and can really be clamped down like they should be.
