3343, Please Help...special tools Posted by Corbin, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM I appologize if this has been asked before, I rarely visit the "handling/suspension" forum. I'm putting in a new drivers side axle and can't get the tie rod joints and lower arm joints apart. The shop manual says you need a special tool to separate the joint (MB991113). It looks like a clamp with a cord attached. Does the dealer sell this tool? Anyone else sell this tool? Will another tool work? I appreciate any help...I need it. | |
