31399, RE: "Clunking" Noise from Passenger Front End. Posted by RoninEclipse2G, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM check the joints and the control arm bushings, bad bushings will thunk really loudly but won't grind or squeak when you turn the wheel. could be a dead strut too.
