If you're only two hours away, you're looking at one tank of gas and $10 for food. There will be stuff going on from 3pm Friday until pretty much 3am Monday morning. Get off work at 5? By seven you could be hanging out and getting to know everyone. Spend a good four hours there and then drive home if you have to.

You can get a taste of the Shootout for under $75, imo.

What about t-shirts example DSM Shootout 06' 2gnt would they/or someone sell them at time of the event Sunday. What about cost to run? I'm only going to run is what my time is for quarter w/only my InjenCAI stock. To me its quick, nothing extreme like all yours. I'm planning on it,Horse power first/looks secondor both. HRC kit one I can still run pump gas and drive with. Both street&track. I'm looking to go 275/300hp.

I'm headed up Sunday for the shootout,what time gate open for it. Is good be there early?? Could I bring camera take pictures of our rides

If you've never run your car before, I wouldn't advise making your track depbut at the Shootout. The fastest, most hardcore DSMers in the country are going to be there, with 7 second 1Gs and 1000hp Evos. I think you'll have more fun getting to know the 2GNT group - you know, put a face with all the names. We're usually all together up at the front of the bleachers watching things unfold. We'll see you there for sure, man.
