I am planning to convert my truck (Ford Ranger XLT - extended cab, shortbed, 4X4, V-8 4.6L, automatic) to natural gas. I plan on running the natural gas tank/cylinder in the bed. The evaporater (regulator) makes the pressure go from 3000 or 3600 psi, to around 45 psi. Then it comes to a distribution block (same found in nitrous applications). And that goes to the individual injectors. Seems real simple.

I believe the injector pulse rate and all the settings for the fuel injectors should be the same between the natural gas, and the liquid gasoline. Is there any reason why it shouldn't? I plan on running fuel only, and having the stock computer do timing. Is there a way that I can keep my stock sensors, but mount the MS sensors?

The only difference between the CNG and the liquid gasoline setup are the fuel injectors. Does anyone know how to size them up? I see some cheap 1600cc/min (150lb/min) injectors on eBay for $60 a piece.

How do you guys think it would come out? You think I can pull this off easily, as I've heard how easy other MS setups are accomplished?

I want to be able to switch from gasoline to CNG. Can I have a toggle switch thats inline to the wiring for the fuel pump relay?
