My AEM UEGO has been doing this the last few weeks. Ive had it for probably 3 years or so now, and Im thinking its time for a new sensor.

I'd say either a short has developed or yes, it's time for a replacement.

Yep, looks that way dude. Id say perform a recal, but IIRC the UEGO does not calibrate.

Is it just the VW 1.8 sensor? If so Advance Auto online with store pickup and coupon code VISA works great. I normally add some RTV to the cart so you get 30 off of 75, lol.

Yeah, they are calibrated from the factory and cant be changed. Its definately the sensor though, did a test I saw on youtube. Soak a rag in brake clean and lay the sensor in it. It goes to full rich and a good sensor should stay there. Bad sensors, like mine, will sit at full rich and then go to full lean while they are still in fuel. Then when you take them out, as the fuel dries off the sensor it goes from full lean, back to full rich, and slowly to lean again. Probably just going to get a new one from Ebay
