I recently bought a 8 injector setup off this board and I'm having trouble connecting with my computer. I have the controller connected to a spare battery for power and I know my serial port is setup correctly. What I'm wondering is the version no's for the software? I believe the version I'm using is v1.04.00 and I think my controller may use the older software. If anyone has a copy of the older software please email it to me at tdamlo@hotmail.com or pm on how to get it.

Ok I found the old version of the software yet I still cannot connect. Anyone have any ideas?

are you using a USB to serial adaptor? Do the com port numbers match in the software and on your laptop?

I'm using my desktop right now I need a usb/serial adapter for my laptop. I've tried all the different com port settings and nothing. When I open up the ecu 32 program it says that I have to enter license and when I do (I'm using the license included in the read me file for the new software) and then it says verify if there is an engine control unit connected to the proper port. I'm beginning to think the controller is dead. When I use the Super Fueler 32 program and I try to get data from the controller I get this message "failure to connect to attached controller (no response)". Anyone know of a way to test to see if the controller is working? I'm going to uninstall and reinstall the software again on my computer and see if that does any good and pick up a new serial cable as well.

The serial cable works fine I just tested it. Do I need to use both programs ecu 32 and super fueler or can I just use super fueler? and the old version of the software is v1.02.01 correct?

ECU 32 is the program that makes the superfueler. The only program you should use to communicate with the unit is the superfuler. Also is there power to the unit? Did you run a seriel cable from the car into the house? If the unit does not have power then they will not communicate. (just want to make sure the unit is not just sitting on the desk unconnected)

Thanks for the help guys but it turns out I'm retarded and hooked it up to the wrong port on my computer and it works great.
