5417, So Meanwhile In Teklein's Garage...

MS2 full standalone - no ECU!

So first you remove all the stock wiring, behind the dash, through the firewall, around stuff, you get the idea.

You should have this laying on the floor...

And the motor looks like this!

Now you start delooming and detaping everything...

And you will end with this pile of crap.

Now I did not take any pics, but at this point Zac and I traced the wires that we needed (CLT gauge, VSS signal, reverse sensor, etc.) and removed the rest.

And now you start wiring!

Until you go to run some wires and find that they are missing (pins 3-6). At this point you email DIY and wait for a response.

Hehe, its on the stock motor on the stand. Unfortunately it started bubbling and peeling really bad.

You can see the reflection of it in the top of this picture:

Getting ready to tackle this big project. Any words of advice? I have the engine and trans out so mine should be a little easier to remove the wiring

Take your time, don't rush through it. Make sure you take the starter relay, wipers, and clt gauge wire out if the stick harness. Have a couple of relays, volt meter, smokes, and brews handy. Have fun!

Did you guys remove the fuse box under the hood or did that stay in the car while you did the wiring
