4134, Ms1 - 4 bar map install

I am maxing out my 2.5 bar map sensor on Ms and need to upgrade it. The guy I bought it from also gave me a 4 bar map (MPXH6300A) which is the same map that is included if you buy a 4 bar map but since its not like the 2.5 bar sensor it uses the adapter board. Thats the part I do not have. I can build that no problem but I dont know which pins from the map go to the ones on MS. I have searched for several days and have come up with nothing.

Here is a pic of what it should look like.

MPXH6300 is the 3 bar map not the 4 bar.

Download the PDF file on the sensor and it will tell you what pins you need to wire. The picture you posted is just pauls copy of Rodneys board from RS-autosport.

My bad, I have the 6400. I have looked at the pdf file before and it didn't seem to be much help. I guess I will compare it to the 2.5 bar sensor pdf and try to figure out the pins.

Terry,

One of our designers actually independently created the circuit board for our three and four bar MAP sensor. Only after beginning production did we notice the similarity to the RS-Autosport unit.

SilvrEclips,

If it helps, here are the equivalent MPXH6400 pins to the MPX4250.

MPX4250 pin 1 (signal) = MPXH6400 pin 4
MPX4250 pin 2 (ground) = MPXH6400 pin 3
MPX4250 pin 3 (Vcc) = MPXH6400 pin 3

Are those the only pins that need to be connected? The 2.5 bar sensor has 6 pins and so does the 3/4 bar circuit boards. Are the other 3 pins not used?

That's correct, the other three pins have no internal connections; they're only there for packaging reasons.
