4016, LC-1 Wideband Reading

i calibrated the wideband sensor programmed it using the programmer and on megatune it keeps reading either 10.57 or 19.96 at idle. Im pretty sure somethings not right.

I have the same issue. I have soldered all ground wires and still the same thing. It does start working evry now and then without reason but then goes back to this same state. All grounds are soldered to a 10 ga wire in separate locations. The wire is ran to the block. I recalibrated once and it worked for a while then it went back to doing the same thing. I am running the 12v power source on a toggle switch rather than a switched 12v souce.

same here, sensor recalibration did nothing for me and im running power from the igniton wire, chassis ground. It sucks because i cant drive my car unless i have an accurate afr. No afr= No tuning.

Just for accuracy in research my sensor is in the stock rear o2 bung and the wires are run under the drivers seat.

my wideband o2 sensor is about 6-8 inches away from the front o2 sensor. I just tried different ground and still the same thing. It reads a constant 19.97afr no matter if i rev it or let it idle. When i open logworks the gauge display on there says 30.8 and fluctuates between 30-33 afr

The reason I have mine on a toggle is because sometimes if I switch it on and off a couple times it starts working.

i just regrounded it to my MS ground and the afr readings are the same still. How do i fix this (besides using a toggle)? Which setting do you have in your megatune configurator?

Mark, if your running a catalytic then your sensor must be in fron tof the cat.

For both of you, are you running any inline resistor on the output wire of the innovate?

I have a racing cat that is hollow through the center.

I am runing the wire (brown I think) straight from the lc-1 to the megasquirt.

Do this to test your controller/wiring.

Take your wideband o2 out of your exhaust and give the sensor power.
Have megatune and or logworks software open and look at the afr.
On logworks it should say 20% oxygen in a grey writing.
Take a lighter and let the butane gas fumegate into the o2 sensor.
The afr should start decreasing and stop at or around 8.
If the afr is still not accurate try doing a free air calibration.
After the free air calibration test it again.
If your reading isn't accurate its your controller/wiring.
If your reading is accurate you have an exhaust leak.

I definately have an exhaust leak. I don't know if it's from having an external wastegate with no dump tube or if its from a bad exhaust manifold gasket,but I am going to trace it down and then see how the afr is. Hopefully this helps.

My issue was a faulty sensor.
