2622, MS voltage woes Posted by mreigle, Sep-28-06 12:39 AM
I have installed the MS system according to the diagram with the exception of the fuel injector setup which I wiredto be able to switch between the stock ecu firing fuel injectors and the MS system. I haven't been ablet to start the car either way ever since. I am using a safc for sensor checks and noticed that my TPS only went to 1.8 volts at WOT. I replaced the TPS, along with the CPS and CAS, and the voltage was still low. I cut the wire from the MS system to the TPS and the voltage now goes up to 3.7 volts at WOT.
Any input would be appreciated.

Are you powering the TPS from the MS's 5v output, or from the factory wiring? What wire did you cut?
No TPS signal won't prevent the car from starting, fyi.

Also, you can calibrate the TPS inside of Megatune, just look at the menus ontop towards the right.
You really will have no need to SAFC. So you can throw it out, or sell it. Just make sure that it is not connect, interfering with the signal.
If your car isn't starting:
1. Are you getting RPMs on the Megatune gauges? If not: how is your Tachsignal inputed to the MS? a.) either it is just a tachsignal off you RPM output from factory b.) 420a crank sensor output In either case above, make sure your settings in the code config window reflect one of these two different ways of getting a tach signal.
