Can someone tell me why the 2 injector signal wires are split up on 1&2 then 3&4, shouldn't it be 1&4 then 2&3 ?

Your assuming the injectors are numbered 1-4 from left to right but the diagram does not state the injector locations that are wired to injector driver 1 and 2. You are correct about injector driver 1 controlling injector 1 and 3. Injector driver 2 should control injectors 2 and 4.
