Unfortunately, there aren't many (if any) people here that run the haltech. Can you elaborate on what signals the Haltech wants? You might also want to check neons.org as there maybe people there that run the Haltech and the wiring should be the same.

ok so im not sure what all i need the haltech needs a trigger for spark timming but if im right the stock ecu uses both the crank sensor and the cam together for spark timing. so i need a signal for each cylinder and a home signal, i think.

All your base are belong to us?

RTFM for the Haltech and it will tell you what kind of crank trigger you need. There is a 99.99% chance you will need to add a trigger wheel (kind of like an EDIS wheel or another type, DeanoD had to add a wheel to his UR UDP for his AEM? to work) to the accessory pulley so the Haltech can read it and be happy. Unless of course you are an EE and want to program your own microcontroller to convert the 420A crank trigger signal to a signal that the Haltech will accept. Insanely difficult, but at least you don't have to mount a new trigger wheel.

how did he put a trigger on the acc pully, was it hard. sounds like that may be an option. also do you know how the stock trigger works, if i know the wave form and timming i might could figure something out. if i get anywhere with this i will post a step by step for the next poor soul that tries, haha. thanks

Just add a timing wheel (whichever kind the haltech uses) to you accessory pulley, use an aftermarket pulley like an Unorthodox or an AFX, they have 3 bol holes for a puller you can use to attach the wheel. Don't make it more difficult than it should be.

420A crank angle sensor information located in here:
http://az2gnt.net/FSM/Tech_Info_Man.pdf
Check page "1-20" which is page 41.

If you decide to mount your own wheel, which I am pretty sure you will end up doing, you'll have to mount a new hall sensor too which should be pretty simple with a bar of Al stock.
