Ok so Im on my way to work, and at 15 psi the inj1 fuse blew. I did not see any damage to the wires going to the relay or any damage to the relay cable. This is the first time that this sort of thing has happened also today is the first day running at 15 psi. Do you think running at 15psi over did it? I ran 10 at autox and had NO problems. Any ideas?

It could have been a bunk fuse. Have you tried replacing the fuse and re-creating the failure?

I replaced the fuse but have not had the chance to boost up to 15 psi again. I'm going to try it tonight when I get home. I'm still not sure why it would blow at 15psi and not at 10. Is there some load that would kill the fuse for holding the injector open so long? I used 14GA wire for the + to the injectors and 16 GA for the grounds.

What was the amperage rating on the fuse? 14 gauge wire should be fine. Low impedance injectors take more current to run, and at hiher pulse widths. If you had like a 5 amp fuse in there, that's not high enough. Try a 15 amp, which is ok for 14 gauge wire. If you get the flyback board, you can minimize current used because the flyback board "redirects" some of the flyback current of the injectors, back into actually driving the injectors. This creates less current draw and less heat into the injector flyback circuit. My guess though is that your fuse rating was too small for low imp injectors.

That is what I was thinking too. I have the 7.5 amp fuses in there right now. I'll change out to a set of 15's and see if it does it again. I have the flyback board on the way from diyautotune.com, it should be here late next week. Thanks guys I'll keep you updated.

what size injectors are you running?
When i blew my processor, it was keeping the injector circuit stuck open, popping the 5A fuse. This fuse most likely saved my injectors. I am running Delphi 72lbs injectors.
Figuring out the amperage is as easy as ohm's law with two resistors in parallel.
Two injectors (resistors) per channel in parallel running on 12 volts.
The resistance of my injectors measures to be 2.6ohms
(1/2.6 + 1/2.6)^-1 X 12volts
