Title says it all.

Can it be done safely?

Dougie2 do you use it?

I'm using the flyback board on my Accel 72lb injectors. You can "get away" without using the flyback board, but ONLY if you remote mount the flyback transistor to the MS case, using heat sink compound and a machine nut/bolt. That transistor just gets too hot for the MS board to disipate the heat generated by low impedance injectors, but if you remote mount it, it should be sufficient. It's always best to use the flyback board with any low imp injector though. It does provide *slightly* faster injector opening and closing times.

I have read some of the instructions for the flyback board, but is it a pain to install?

Also, has anyone heard why its bad to use resistors in series with the injectors to help lower the current? Does it hurt injector response time?

also another injector question....

is it possible to reverse the polarity of the injectors?

Does it matter if the 12v power and signal wires are reversed?

I don't use a flyback board.
