I've been tinkering with controller authority, how many ignition steps it will ignore before it corrects again, etc... and every time I tweak my VE table I take a little closed loop authority away from it and everything gets better. I found out quickly that the MS doesn't like to have a +/- 50% range for AFR correction, unless you like to have your AFR numbers look like 11.3, 12.1, 11.5, 12.9, 9.8, 11.7, when you are trying to hit 11.7 or so.


So you are saying that you can set target A/F ratios with a wideband even at open loop WOT? That's pretty f'n sweet.. Yeah, it makes sense to have the VE table do as much of the tuning as possible, and let the o2 work a bit less at keeping a target A/F
