I honestly think he should be removed from the running. If he feels this site is a waste of his time and that it's worthless then he should not be represented at the shoot-out with a shirt design.

the only problem with the 2 valve cover designs, is that on a shirt its going to be a big black square. i dont know how thats going to look.

if you can somehow make the background clear or transparent, well there you go.

as long as you dont have a white shirt, i wouldnt see it being a problem, or at least then fade the black square out so that it blends. i would prefer gray shirts IMO.

Thanks for all the effort involved by all of you on the SO design a tee contest. Maybe in the near future we will try again with maybe something else (holiday tee or ornament design of some sort maybe) But until then enjoy what is available in the store already.

I never really wanted the 2nd design to be in there.. but it doesn't matter. I wasn't expecting the designs to win, just give ideas for people better at PS.

I actually made one of the valve cover ones say "2GNT" then it had a "."(dot) where the "2.0L" is, then "COM" below the "." where the "16 valve" is, but didn't finish it because I had no motivation left.

LOL. Just an FYI, I never said it was worthless. This site helped me out ALOT and I know it helps alot of other people out also. I didn't mean for it to come out like it probably sounds, was just wondering what the hell everybody's attitude is about.

But, if the people who made this "contest" feel that way, remove me from the running.

The first one is the only one that has a shot at looking even halfway decent on a silkscreen shirt.

It just happens to be the best looking IMO.

You're on target there, sir, but I just don't like the huge Mitsu logo. I drive an Eagle. :shrug Just doesn't flow well imo (gestalt). I dunno. I don't care either way. If my design doesn't win, I'm going to redo it for an az2gnt shirt design. ;)

I thought the quote was hilarious. Every fuckin time I talk to a 4g63 guy they say "You know you have a neon engine, right?" Like there's a fuckin law that all 4g guys have to ask you that question. So it's sort of an in-your-face kinda thing. I dunno. :shrug
