So we are around 4.5 months away from the 2005 DSM Shootout. This forum should be BOMBARDED with all KINDS OF shit!! Caravan arrangements, stories from last year, bench racing, plan making, pictures, etc. Come on guys! The SHOOTOUT is almost here!@!!!!! JUMP UP IN THE AIR AND SING AND SHIT! The best part of the year is fast approaching. We should be going FUCKING CRAZY!


Also anyone who doesn't go to the shootout this year will be banned forever from the board. That is all.

Tech? What tech? I think there will definitely be some 12 second runs by board members. I'm sure there will be at least 1 sub 12, 11 2gnt there (and we all know who's it is also). I'll run the 2gnt event and maybe a pass or 2 on Sunday. I going to keep the number of runs down to about 5 for the weekend so I need to make them count.

^^^^^^^^^Engine had 7 miles on it when I got to Norwalk. It has about 1100 on it now. We shall see what track nights yield this spring.

I just ordered my Carbon Fiber hood. My first rice mod. This year the car will be almost unchanged mechanically but will be cosmetically changed. Such a different strategy for me. I'm so confused how to go about this.

Tony is right in front of me with the long hair. The guy next to Tony on the right looking away with brown hair is HybriDSM, and the guy on the left is my old college roommate, Jon. He will be there this year again too!

No worries Tony. That year I was kind of a fly on the wall as it was my first SO and all. This year we'll redo the introduction properly. You can have the Jager and I'll stick with the beer. I don't want to womit everywhere which is what a full night of hard liquor would do to me.

The main concern isn't even getting it back together - 90% of the mechanical stuff is done. getting it running with three, four weeks to spare isn't even a huge issue - i can have it running in two weeks if i try. The big problem is going to be getting the car registered, "inspected," and insured so i can actually drive it on the street...
