Yes, 2g's with the Chrysler engine are also allowed to compete. The can compete in the Brackets or Q16. I will go back in and reword the rules.

yeah a lotta ppl did go ape shit...I didnt go so I cant say much but Im gunna go next yr..I had NO car at all this yr and yeah...but Im going next yr..

woot...i'll mos def be there next year...and unless my car is down i will run..no matter how slow i am. Also, me n my friend may be moving out to Ohio in a couple months...so...if he gets a house i might possibly be able to house a few 2gnter's...don't hold me to that as it won't be my place.

Yeah, I picked up the keyboard to find out the truth, it all stemmed from some jack-ass WRX owner making a run. David put up the 4G63 rule and just forgot about non 4G63 eclipses, just to be sure non DSMs didnt run. Shit happens.

That would just be the shit...and um, very expensive haha.. Hey, i'll be there next year for sure, and *hopefully* the RS will be in much better shape for drag racing.

That would be awesome to see a 420a in Q16. This year's cut off time was 11.24. That's the bar at this point.

Lowest qualifying time? Or lowest time ever run at the SO in Q16? This year was the fastest qualifying time at 11.24, and it gets lower every year. To be honest, it would not suprise me in the least to see the mark set in the 10.xx range next year if people keep making improvements like they have over the last two years.

For reference: Last year the fastest Evo was 11.5 or so. This year there were 4 Evos in the 10's and probably ten faster than last years fastest. It's unreal how many people get exponentially faster every year. That's what makes it so fun.

Adams evo went 9.50 something this year. He fired that thing up at the econolodge at 3 am saturday night. It sounded like cannon fire. It was cool. But yeah, about the only 2gnt'er we can hope for in this class is mr hahn himself. That would be pretty cool seeing him repping us there. Our two fastest this year, besides bill, went 13.7 and 13.8. Thats quite a large step :)

Well kick me in the shin and call me Sally, Dave will let 420A's in the Q16? Im bout to fall out of my chair and die...These last few years it seems the DSM SO has been turning into the EVO SO. But things are changing for the better and i can guarantee that if 420A's are in fact allowed to run in the Q16 The RS WILL be there kicking some 4G63 butt cause we all know that the RS is the fastest 2G street legal eclipse/talon out there.
