I was thinking of how people always say they're going and then bail out. What if we asked people to donate to the pot for fastest NA and fastest FI car at the unofficial 2GNT nationals. That is, instead of Dino shelling out cash to the fastest, people could throw in a 5 spot when they were thinking they would go and then we could split the money between the two winners or something. Maybe just use the money to cater our "We actually made it this year" party on that Friday night. A lot of people can pop for a fiver imo. And no big loss if you don't go either.

Just an idea. Maybe not the best, but I'm kind of eager for this to get here again already. Can't we do this like once a month or something? Maybe have it rotate from state to state? :P

LOL I was thinking the same thing on the ride back home this year.

I wouldnt mind donating even tho I dunno if I'll be racing. I might just see what times I can pull in another state, but not competion wise. That means less or no drinking for me. And no waking up at noon time on SO day again sir.

Yeah I think that would be a good idea! I am still planning on going unless something major shoots the plans out the window.. But donating to a pot for that would be donating to a most worthy cause, My fellow 2GNT Crew!
