So I just called the BW to see if any cancellations had come in causing some availibility of rooms. They said they are over booked for this weekend. So I said then you will have to have many cancellations before there are a few open rooms. She said yep there would have to be a fair amount of them too. I asked what happens if they all show up, and she said they will help them find another hotel if they don't have a room. So you might want to show up a little early on check in day to be sure you get your room. If I had one I would be calling to confirm that my reseveration would be honered.

yea, they do that every year because you wouldnt believe how many people still no call no show. they will probly be fine. two years ago on saturday night they had ONE room left. who knows. we are getting there thursday, that is sooner than most. i think we will be fine.

I think the people coming in on Saturday will be the ones with problems..I would think that the majority of people get there on Sat and stay though Sunday or Monday..Getting there on Friday, i don't think we should have a problem..The amount of people that book a room(s), is prob a lot less than how many actually show up. I believe check in is around 3 pm, so i'm hoping our caravan will get there around that time or so..

I've called and confirmed my reservation like 3 times now, and the last time i called BW at Norwalk directly, and made them confirm the price of my room...those fuckers tried to screw me and some others last year with hiking the room price up a bit at checkout time..HA! not this year assholes!

Yeah just called.....my reservation is still on file...but there treating it on a first come first served basis. Sounds like alot of bullshit to me......I can see a line staring at noon just to clinch a room....jeesh. EDIT: I liked this line "um yeah we may have triple booked so the rumor you heard is true" lol

I'll ask my pilot if we can circle over Norwalk on our way into Chicago. Then, I'll jump out the window and use a larger flight attendant's skirt for a parachute. I will land in the pool (going through the roof might hurt, but it's for a good cause), then take the list of all the screen names from 2GNT that are staying at BW and force them to honor our reservations.

The way I recieved the info from the guy, it truely sounded like it doesn't really matter when you booked it (first come first served) But he also did say that 3 day bookings were honored first and like mentioned above...saturday people will probably be fucked. I'm really not too worried at all, I'll probably be there around noon on friday and am booked till monday. :+

I have 2 rooms up at the Hampton Inn still. Unfortuantly I can only keep the $69 rate if the person checks in Friday but I have to know like yesterday. x(

I'll try. I got into a pretty bad accident that put me into the hospital earlier this year. Then just a month ago I got really sick. Turns out I have a rare type of tumor and have to have surgery soon. I've been in and out of the hospital. It sucks. I don't know for how long this thing will put me out. This might go on for a couple of years... x(
