Ok, i have done searched and read many countless threads on this, and seems that no one has finished them? I have a 97 RS with the Extreme Turbo kit on it, 8.8-1 compression with eagle rods. Now, i just did the rebuild and yes, i got a CEL on for the MAP sensor. Now, i got the map sensor off, and now my car will not start! I am using a SAFC II with a walbro 190, fmu i think 11-1, and Accel 30pound injectors. I have the settings on 5-5 for pressure adn 40%low and 65%high! everything seemed to be running right at 10 pounds then the engine just shuts down and i have to coast it off the road?! I also got a misfire on cly 2 and 3 due to O2 sensor went out at the same time. Changed and fixed everything, but the damn car will not fire up!? any sugesstions, and yes, the coil pack, wires, and plugs are fine. tested them and ended up changing the spark plugs just to make sure?!

Tested/replaced ASD relay, CAS, or CPS? Is your fuel pump priming, are you getting spark?

yea, i checked everything. it is all in line. as for the coil pack and injectors checked them with a ohm meter. 11 on injectors and 11.2 across 1-4 and 2-3 on the coil pack. I think that is good. But just for shits and giggles i checked the wires against the block, got a little spark, not a big one!

take that back. not getting any spark now!

you have the map sensor iteself off, or you mean you have the CEL for it off?

Yeah, did you just leave the MAP unplugged, replaced it, or removed it?

Search for no spark, can be timing related, ASD relay, and a few other things.

well, figured out that problem. one of the wires to the CPS got pinched, i guess when i put the heads back on. That problem is fixed, but now i can't get it to go into boost smoothly. I have the ML and also a homemade FCD set at 4.59 ohms. I have my SAFC down to -13 at idle ( a little on the rich side) and running back up to no correction when boost starts to hit, i run heavy rich into boost and then my logger and gauge both say that i am running lean at about 2 pounds, so i let back off and instanly everything goes back to rich?!? I only have my boost set to 6 for testing and tuning to get it running right!

Why do you have both the ML and FCD?

Cause the Bought the ML and it was still hesitating going into boost, i put the FCD on it and it goes nice and smooth into boost! I am running 15 pounds with no problem now, O2 readings at .91V when at WOT on 15 pounds!?
