9978, Cams......to grind or not to grind...that is the question Posted by Boosted_Bishi16g, Dec-10-01 04:29 PM
hey all, I emailed crower and they can grind your cams to whatever specification and desired idle. I was told that cams help out alot with a turbo. I just bought a Star turbo kit and am thinking about the cams. Am I going to notice a difference or is this $250 for nothing. Also, what should I have them ground to? I know you can get 272degree cams for the turbo car, but thats a different motor. Any suggestions will really help. Zane

Mach V has cams for our cars. They have a 264° and a 272°, they recommend using 264° on the intake and 272° on the exhaust, but you can check it out for yourself.
