Once again, I'm looking for more information on stainless steel lines. Who is running ss brake lines, clutch lines, or any ss lines? Also, where did you get the lines from or did you make your own? Thanks again for the info.

Not sure as the direction of your question but...

I am running all SS lines where there is movement on the car. I have run SS lines for all 4 corners on brakes for over 5 years now and they do provide a little more responsive braking, less flex in the line. I also run SS lines throughout my fuel system, but then again I have ditched completely the stock fuel system for a full custom setup. I run 3/8" aluminum hard line up and back from the tank and run -6AN SS lines to and from the block for fuel. It seals great and you know it will hold the pressure... so what was the question again?

Well, I'm pretty much looking for some ideas on what lines I should change out and if it would even be worth it. What about your brake booster vac line? Or even the brake booster itself?

The only lines you should consider is the fuel lines when going aftermarket as Deej mention, brake lines as mentioned and clutchline. Your brake booster is a VAC line.

The purpose of Stainless lines are their ability to withstand greater pressures. Your boost vac line will not see high pressure.

If your going to route of trying to make the engine bay look better, then buy a cheap stainless wrap kit. I am highly against this but do as you will.

What I was thinking was that when I put my motor in I felt the brake pedal fluxuate, and I thought "hmm - that must be my new brake booster line flexing" so naturally I thought I might be able to get a stiffer line to help make the pedal feel stiffer. But eventually it stopped, so I was just curious if anyone does in fact upgrade their brake booster. I know that some people change out their master cylinder with the one in the GSX, but why is that? Also, does anyone change out the slave cylinder ever?

... And now that I think about it my brakes were probably doing that because of the hydrolic fluid.

Fuel : -6AN front to back and all around my 8inj setup (custom rails }( )
