I have a stage 3 clutchmasters that cost $750!!!!! :o

Once you get past the price its an awesome clutch. It engages almost right off the floor }> and is easy to get used too. I never had a single slip even starting in 2nd gear, I could start in 3rd gear if I wanted too. Rev to 5000 and come off the clutch and it's INSTANT WHEELSPIN. Feather it just right and you take off great off the line. I had some killer take offs on the street but the best I could pull at the track with SHITTY $89 tires was 2.4 60' times. Either way, I would highly recomend this clutch!

A stock clutch from Mitsu is $500
Labor is an ungodly amount at Satan.

I got my clutch installed for $250 even at a tranny shop.

Stage 1 is $500 but is organic material.

FX100 (Stage I)
· High performance street system
· Holding capacity 70% over stock
· Heavy-Duty reinforced pressure plate
· Hi-Leverage? pressure ring design
· Sprung hub/cushioned disc
· Steel backed organic friction material

Stage 2 is the same design as stage 1 but Kevlar. $737

FX200 (Stage II)
· Extra long life street system
· Holding capacity 70% over stock
· Heavy-Duty reinforced pressure plate
· Hi-Leverage? pressure ring design
· Sprung hub/cushioned disc
· Steel backed Carbon Kevlar friction material

Stage 3 is the same price as 2 but has a higher torque and hp capacity.

FX300 (Stage III)

· Heavy-duty street & racing system
· Holding capacity 110% over stock
· Heavy-Duty reinforced pressure plate
· Hi-Leverage? pressure ring design
· Sprung hub/cushioned disc
· Steel backed Segmented Carbon/Kevlar

Stage 4 is cheaper, $687 but is still streetable from what I hear.

http://www.clutchmasters.com/shop/shop_image/product2/acura_stage4.jpe

FX400 (Stage IV)

· Ultra heavy-duty street &racing system
· Holding capacity 170% over stock
· Heavy-Duty reinforced pressure plate
· Hi-Leverage? pressure ring design
· Sprung hub/4-button
· Ceramic friction material

BTW After typing all this I noticed that CM raised there prices again. Now the Stage 2/3 are $797 and Stage 4 is $747. Stage 1 is $550.
That sucks. They charged me $25 shipping from CA to FL.

I have heard you can find clutch shops that will make a performance clutch locally for much cheaper prices than these but I haven't tried a place like that myself.

my clutch just went out too.. but this one is getting replaced free! including labor! the mechanic that installed the clutch installed it wrong, and it was his fault, so he is going to replace it for free.. sux though, cus i was going to have him install a centerforce for me, and i would have paid the difference, but he already ordered the part.. ehh.. at least ill have a new clutch and flywheel sat.. time to rev hard for the next few days!! haha

thnx fast420a for the clutch info.

yea thats jacked up. i had my mom call the mechanic and she told him what happened and all that, and he recommended some clutch that he allways works with. so she said ok. can you believe that?! after i told her that i wanted the centerforce dual friction. thats messed up. well im not paying for it so i cant really complain. but at least i get new flywheel and clutch today. :) so im happy
