When doing the clutch restrictor mod (http://www.2gnt.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=75) is there a real noticeable difference? I'm just curious if it's worth the time to do it or not? Thanks again everyone.

Yeah it's definately noticable. A 30-minute mod which is well worth it. The engagement point becomes much more defined.

I don't quite understand why they would put that little plate in the slave cylinder then. Anyone know why?

No idea. You can imagine my surprise when I went to do this mod on my own car and found there was no restrictor to begin with. Then again, it wasn't the original clave cylinder, but a replacement from Napa that I had installed last year.

To be honest, I've never noticed anything either way. :shrug

I did this mod on my car, I felt a difference, but nothing too noticable. I would do it anyways, didn't take too much time.

I didnt notice anything spectacular, but there is a difference. I think they put it in there to make it easier for people to drive. They were prolly trying to make it more forgiving to those who cant drive well, or ride the clutch, or sumthin. Just my theory, but I know I seen somethin about this on here before.
