Alright guys, I am having a big issue. My radiator fans are not working and my car is over heating like crazy. Therefore, I need a few favors. Can someone with a GS eclipse post up a picture of their fuse box under the hood (with the fuse box cover off of course). I am missing all 3 fuses that go to the radiator fan and wondering if they are even supposed to be there. Because 2 of the big fuses dont even have wires running to them when I pulled the fuse box out and look under it. I have to figure out this fan problem and how I can get it to work ASAP because I have to get it out of the garage for a magazine photoshoot next weekend. Thanks guys.

I dont have a picture available to me right now but if there arent any wires below the fuse locations then there isnt supposed to be a fuse there.

Have you check to see if you have power to the fans when the car is hot?

I am at work and will step out to my car to see what fuses i do and dont have.

This is from an RS with a few mods but the fan wiring layout is the same as a GS. When you say the fuses are missing I assume you mean the black RELAYS are missing? (I don't think either are actually).

The entire first row of black square relays are for the fans. The top two should be blank and will not have any wires in the slots at all. The third position down is for the main radiator fan relay and it only has one speed. The fourth position is for the condenser(AC) fan relay high speed. The fifth position down is for the condenser(AC) fan relay low speed.

The main radiator fan is fed power from the 30 A fusible link in the third position down from the second row. When the ECU determines you need cooling that realy gets a ground signal and the fan gets power.

The condenser (AC) fan relays are fed power from the 20 amp blade fuse on the far right in the photo.

In a pinch, you could always temporarily power the fan(s) directly off the battery if you have to drive it somehere.
