So after my scare on the highway with a brake caliper coming loose, I thought surely I am through with car problems for a while.
WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today my car starts idling crazy, up and down and throwing out this high pitched shrill. Kinda like if you blow up a balloon and then stretch the mouth out while you let the air escape. PLus the highest the boost would go is about 3 PSI.

So I am thinking melted vacuum hose or loose coupler.
Yeah not so much luck. The upper half of the intake manifold rocks back and forth almost 1/2 inch from the bottom.

I am no expert but I think that I found my boost leak. Once again, a little loctite would have cured the problem but I didnt want anything permanent.

I really dont want to take that manifold top off to check that gasket but at this point, might as well.

lol....from reading your other post i think you need to buy a new torque wrench...lol iv never had issues with tightening any of the bolts you have issues with

No and those bolts dont have to be that tight to begin with. You sir def do not need to be the last prson to check anyhthing and label it as "tight".

I've had a caliper come loose on the highway. What a fucking scary experience. You hit the brakes, get all manner of scary noises, and the car jerks around all funny. Ugh. That sucked. My right caliper still has the polished area where it was rubbing on the inside of my rim.

We went to pull my engine one time and found that all the bolts holding the bellhousing to the engine block were loose. Well, one was still tight, but the rest were half-backed-out, and one was actually lying on top of the tranny.

It's okay. Since then, I've gained a tendency to go the other way.
