Hi ive been a member of 2gnt for a while now, i havnt posted in a long time since ive found all the answers using the search function. However i was searching for an answer to why i have oil in the 4th cylinder and i found this link http://www.2gnt.com/www/corbin/vc.html but i dont know if this would solve my problem or if its something more serious. please help thank you

Replace your valve cover gasket while you're at it. Don't forget to put RTV sealant on the cam lobe where its known to leak oil. A simple $15 fix. Oh yeah, ensure you do not overtighten the valve cover bolts (15 ft bls. I think) when you put it back together.

ive never changed a VC gasket, it isnt too bad though is it? cuz ive having oil getting in there too and making it seem like i got a hella bad miss, so ill prob do that ... someone told me i may have to take all my plugs out to do so, something about the Valve Cover not coming off unless they are out, but he said he wasnt for sure about that, true?

Really? hmmm, I would think that you'd need to do a rethread on the head from which the VC bolts are threaded into no?
