i just put in a rebuilt motor, had it retimed to the T, and it still cranks for a few seconds to spark..what else could it be, and another thing why after rebuild do i only get 107 miles to the tank of gas..the car runs fine

seems something went wrong when your did the rebuild. Are you using bigger injectors now? fuel pressure? running rich like a mofo? -

ALL stock, not running rich either...it is really weird can't figure it out at all

Did you break the motor in correctly? Are you having a lot of blow by? (You'd need a catch can to answer that question). How old is the O2 sensor?

as for the delayed start, try priming the fuel system before you start it. (turn the key to on, then back, then on, then back, then start it). It should fire right up. It's probably just fuel going back in the lines.
