i searched and got an idea but just want to make sure.. I bought a rebuilt motor and brought it to a shop to be put in..after a month they say they cant get it running. They told me it had 75 compression across, 40% leakdown in cyls 1-3 and 100% in four...yesterday i had a friend mess with the car. We tried turning it over and it was blowing air out of the intake. So from searchin i seen something about timing being off by 180 or possibly neon cams? i did notice the the the hole on the camshaft closest to me was up and the other was not? is one off by 180 or do i have neon parts in there? if i have the neons camshafts will putting the my old camshafts in a rebuilt motor hurt anything? gonna mess with it soon so any help would be appreciated.

Is there a certain # on the camshafts so i can tell they are neon camshafts..that way i have the power to get some money from the shop.

There's some information in there concerning the different numbers for Neons vs. Eclipse platforms for the 420a.
